Endgame I understand that these men will more than likely end up with women. I just hope that Infinite's split is amiable and happy for them all so that they can stay a family, even in a future with different careers.
If 20 years from now Woohyun and Sunggyu aren't still involved in each other's lives, I'll mourn for the marriage they once had, basically.
Why do I like them?
This is probably my ultimate ship in this fandom. It balances just the right amount of fluff and darkness. I am far more invested in EVERY incarnation of Hunny/Gyu's relationship than I am anyone else's. I don't know if I cam explain why. My first foray into this fandom was a WooYeol fic in which WooGyu was completely unrequited and painful on Woohyun's side, but I still searched for crumbs of their relationship everywhere. There is just something so powerful about it. No matter what, these two are MARRIED. And that's it. Period. Married. And functional when by all accounts they shouldn't be.
And let's face it, they function because of Dongwoo. I find Dongwoo a lot darker than most people seem to (and ship him frequently with Daesung from Big Bang) ... He balances these idiots out. And they all care for each other.
Hyung line is flawless, basically.
I feel like I am not being articulate. This is my ot3 to end all ot3s... But I can't really explain why. They just... Don't necessarily have to be romantically involved or anything. Just existing in each other's spaces.
