"Where's Kangin?" Jungsu asks standing up when we come in.
"Ran into problems. They stayed behind to give us time." Ryeowook said, walking to one of the boys and sitting beside him.
"Problems?" Asked a third boy, he seemed younger than Ryeowook, but was taller than a lot of them.
"Orphanage workers." Sungmin says, taking some food from the boy.
"Wait. what do you mean 'they?'" asked a boy that looked more liked a girl in Hyukjae's opinion.
"My brother and Kangin hyung." Sungmin said, going quieter.
"Your brother? Hold on, what about that boy that was with you Eunhyuk? Didn't you refuse to come without him? Where is he?" Jungsu asks, looking confusedly at Hyukjae.
"With Kangin." Sungmin says, looking out the window worriedly.
"So that boy.... is your brother?" Jungsu asks, looking between the two boys looking out the window for Donghae.
"Yes. If they're not back in five minutes I'm going out there to get them myself!" Sungmin exclaims, looking at the small clock.
"Be patient. You know Kangin won't fail. If, however, they aren't here in 15 minutes, I'm going too." Jungsu says, eating a sausage as Hyukjae walks over to the window over the kitchen sink and glances out of it.
"Nice place Jungsu hyung." Hyukjae says, walking to Jungsu and sitting beside him at the table. Hyukjae could see that it was actually two tables pushed together.
"Thanks. We've worked hard to get as good a life as possible." Jungsu says, finishing his sausage. Hyukjae listens to the various conversations going around the table. They were talking about everything from the weather and fishing to different robbery strategies. A few minutes later the door bangs open and a loud victorious, excited whoop sounds as Kangin and Donghae enter the room. Donghae shuts the door behind him as Kangin runs to the table and pulls a small sack out of his pocket and drops it on the table, small coins falling out of it as it hits.
"We robbed them man! Robbed them and scared them off good!" Kangin exclaims, grinning at everyone, the room had fallen silent as they came in. Donghae quickly moves over to Hyukjae and Hyukjae hugs him tightly.
"Did they follow you back?" Jungsu asks, taking the sack and tipping it on the table, emptying all the contents. There were coins, cash and oddly enough, hard candies. Kangin grabbed the candies and handed them to Donghae, who took them happily with a thanks.
"No. But that boy is genious! He totally deserves that candy!" Kangin says, still hyped up.
"Youngwoon. Calm down." Jungsu says, grabbing Kangin's wrist and stilling him. Kangin calmed down immidiately.
"You know I hate that name. I left it behind when I left." Kangin says, standing behind Jungsu.
"Then calm down." Jungsu replies. The girly one leaned forward.
"And how did that brat earn that candy?" he asks, Sungmin glares at him.
"He's not a brat." Sungmin says, looking at the girly one.
"And before you answer Heechul's question, Kangin, because I am curious about that too. Why don't we introduce everyone first?" Jungsu interrupts, looking at Hyukjae and Donghae, who was sitting in Hyukjae's lap beside Jungsu.
"I'm Eunhyuk, my real name's Lee Hyukjae, but I don't let too many people call me that. Actually, only Donghae can." Hyukjae said, his arms around Donghae's waist. Some people waved and said hi to him.
"I'm Lee Donghae! Sungmin hyung is my real older brother and Hyukkie hyung is my older brother too, even though were not blood related." Donghae says, waving at everyone, smiling when people waved back. Hyukjae smiled and rolled his eyes at Donghae's childish act. He can act his age, he just chooses not to.
"Ok, Donghae, Eunhyuk. I'm Park Jungsu, but I go more by Leeteuk now." Jungsu says, smiling at the two, who smile back.
"I'm Cho Kyuhyun, and I go by that. Leeteuk is also known as Umma by the way. So call him that." said Kyuhyun, smirking at Jungsu when he rolls his eyes.
"I'm Kim Ryeowook, but Eunhyukkie already knew that. Umma did most of this, so be sure to thank him for all this!" Ryeowook exclaims, making Jungsu groan, and most people laugh.
"This is gonna stick isn't it?" Jungsu asks, hitting his head against the table when everyone says yes.
"Kim Heechul. The second oldest here. Beat only by Umma." Heechul says, grinning and laughing at the end.
"Han Geng. People tend to call me Hankyung. My korean isn't always good, so my language is sorry about me." Han Geng says, messing up at the end.
"He means he is sorry about his language." Heechul inputs, patting Hankyung's back.
"Kangin. If I hear you calling me by my other name, you're in big pain." Kangin says, shaking his fist before breaking into a grin.
"I'm Kim Kibum, and if Leeteuk hyung is our Umma then we need an Appa. I vote Kangin." said Kibum, smiling.
"You're an idiot." Kangin says. Jungsu smiles, hiding it quickly with his hand.
"I'm Lee Sungmin, even though you already know that. And I agree on Kangin hyung." Sungmin says, smiling and high-fiving Kibum. This time Kangin groaned.
"I'm Yesung, but I was born Kim Jongwoon. I'm guessing you're rooming with Kibum and Shindong." Yesung says, drinking some orange juice.
"I'm Shin Donghee. Most people call me Shindong. I don't understand how we're fitting you both. We only have one bed." Shindong points out.
"Choi Siwon. I'm seven. Probably younger than you two. The youngest here is Kyuhyun, he's 6. Still a baby." Siwon says, smirking and pushing Kyuhyun's head affectionately.
"Hey! Don't do that! And I'm not a baby, I pull my own weight around here!" Kyuhyun exclaims, hitting Siwon's hand away.
"Yeah, Yeah. We know." Heechul says, ruffling Kyuhyun's hair. Kyuhyun stands up and moves beside Yesung.
"Well, anyways! What happened?" Jungsu asks, looking up at Kangin, who was still standing behind Jungsu.
"Well, Donghae and I were hiding in two trees, and the Orphanage people were just coming into the clearing, and there were three of them, and I jumped down ontop of one and showed the knife to the other two, putting it on the back of the guys neck and told them to drop their guns, and they did, and of course, they kicked them away, I doubt they were unarmed then though, probably had a knife or two, and then I told them to empty their pockets, figured I might as well rob them. And as they did that, I made sure the guy I was on hadn't got any weapons, and then I got off of him, breaking his arm by stepping on it harder than I had to. I know it broke, I heard it snap, and him scream. Surprised you guys didn't hear it. Well anyways, I got off him and backed off to a slightly safer distance, and then I heard Donghae moving in the trees, he was good, it sounded more like the wind than a human. Then boom! He dropped a small bomb in between the workers and they ran like rabbits scared! It was awesome! A bomb man! It even left a small crater! It was awesome!" Kangin narrates excitedly, acting exactly like the nine year old he is.
"A bomb?" Kibum asks, leaning forward in interest. Kangin nods his head rapidly and Donghae raeches into his pocket and pulls out three small remotes from various electronics and puts them on the table.
"Careful, you don't want to activate them, once they're activated, they have to detonate." Donghae says, as Kibum and Jungsu each pick one up.
"How do they work?" Heechul asks, looking at the remotes.
"To activate them you press the power button. After that, press any button and you have about two seconds to get rid of it before it detonates." Donghae says, taking the third one and putting it back in his pocket.
"Did you make them?" Kyuhyun asks, taking the one Kibum was holding.
"Yeah. I rewired them and added catalyst." Donghae replies, taking the other two and putting them in his pocket. "I had them hidden in our backyard."
"That's pretty good. Could you make more?" Jungsu asks, looking at Donghae curiously.
"Yeah, if I have the right material. I grabbed the remotes from one of the houses we stayed in and I used lemon juice coated batteries for the catalyst." Donghae says, leaning back into Hyukjae.
"That's nice and all, but let's focuse on a current problem. Like how we're sleeping two extra when we're short on beds." Shindong brings up.
"That's easily solved. Mr. Scared To Sleep Alone rarely sleeps in his own bed, so we're going to share a bed now." Kangin says, tapping the back of Leeteuk's head.
"I am not scared to sleep on my own. I just don't like it." Jungsu retorts. "Well anyways, Hyukjae and Donghae are going to have my bed."
"See? That's why Kangin hyung is perfect for the Appa!" Kibum exclaims, making some people around the table laugh.
"Let's not talk about this. We have stuff to do today." Kangin says, glaring at Kibum before leaving the room.
"Kangin is right. We have things to do. Ryeowook, Kibum. Could you two go and make sure that the workers are out of the area? The rest of you know what you're doing today." Jungsu says, standing up and putting his plate and cup in the sink before filling it as everyone else puts there plates and stuff either in or beside the sink, before leaving.
"Yeah, we're on it." Kibum says, exiting the room with Ryeowook, everyone but Jungsu, Donghae and Hyukjae had left.
"Eunhyuk? Could you help me with these?" Jungsu asks, looking back at the two boys. Donghae moves over and Hyukjae stands up, nodding and moving to wash the dishes as Jungsu gets a towel to dry them. "Thanks."
"Yup. So what do you guys do? Like, it would be hard to get these big furniture things out here if you had stolen them." Hyukjae says, looking around again as he washes the dishes. Donghae gets up and leaves the room.
"Donghae ssi! Stay inside until you know this area better." Jungsu warns, making Donghae come back and nod his head before going away again. Hyukjae looks back at where Donghae just was and then goes back to the dishes.
"He's only a couple of months younger than me, but he's passed as a four year old before. He was pretty much the only reason that I was so cautious, I couldn't let him be caught. I stopped caring about myself, and put everything I had into making sure he didn't have to go through what I did." Hyukjae tells Jungsu.
"He seems to be a good kid, not having to go through what we have. How did you find him?" Jungsu asks, washing the dishes as quickly and efficiently as possible.
"He was begging on the street, I took him to the place I was staying at and we've stayed together since. So how did you get the big furniture and that out here?" Hyukjae asks again, putting the dishes he's dried on the counter beside him.
"Kangin isn't an orphan, he ran away from his home last year and found this place, it was just me, Ryeowook, Heechul, and Hankyung at that time. The others came here not to long after. Anyways, we found most of the stuff abandoned in dumps and that, and Kangin fixed them up. He's always been good at that stuff." Jungsu says, glancing back as Donghae runs into the room again and slides on the floor, having fallen when he turned.
"Ow...." Donghae groans, standing up and rubbing his butt before looking at Hyukjae and grinning. Hyukjae raises an eyebrow at him.
"What are you doing, Hae?" Hyukjae asks, sounding amused. Donghae holds his hand out and shows him a tooth.
"It came out." Donghae says, putting his toungue through the space in his bottom teeth where the tooth used to be.
"About time! That thing's been loose for almost two months." Hyukjae says, smiling at Donghae before going back to the dishes as Sungmin comes in and takes Donghae, telling him that he has a job for Donghae.
"After we're done our jobs, I'll show you and Donghae around." Jungsu tells Hyukjae, who nods and making a noise that sounded slightly like ok.
