Halloween Fic.
It’s dark in the cellar, absolutely silent. A tall man walks slowly down the stairs, a flashlight held securely in his hands. Flitting the light beam from side to side quickly, as though panicking, his breath coming in quickly, the man’s eyes follow the beam of light, as though looking for some evil. The darkness seems to get heavier as a steady dripping sound is suddenly heard, before a scream sounds, and the man twirls around to see-
“BOO!” Sungmin hears and he jumps, nearly falling off the couch, before turning to glare at Kyuhyun, the magnae standing behind him grinning.
“CHO KYUHYUN! I’m going to kill you!” Sungmin yells before putting the half empty popcorn bowl on the table, and vaulting over the back of the couch, Kyuhyun taking off quickly like a flightly bird, his laughter following him down the hall.
“You have to catch me first Hyung!” Kyuhyun taunts, slamming the door behind him as he disappears into a room. Sungmin skids to a stop, nearly falling down and he tries the doorknob before pounds on the door, hearing Kyuhyun laughing inside. Grumbling to himself, Sungmin turns away and jogs down the hall, stopping before a key holder on the wall near the front entrance, a paper with the words ‘Room Keys, Emergency only. That means no using it to sneak into Hyukjae’s room at night Donghae.’ Taped above it, complete with a picture of heebum and Baengshin that Heechul drew on it. Sungmin takes a key from the hook, and goes back to the door, opening it slowly, and seeing Kyuhyun sitting on his bed grinning, with Ryeowook on the other bed, reading his book, glancing up once to see who was Kyuhyun’s victim this time.
“Found you.” Sungmin snarls, and pounces on the younger man, pinning him to the bed before proceeding to hit him on the head with a book from Kyuhyun’s side table. Kyuhyun raises his hands and tries to get the smaller man off of him, but Sungmin plants his knees firmly into the bed, refusing to get up.
“Hyung! I give! I’m sorry! No more hitting! I won’t scare you again! It was too tempting though, really, it WAS your fault for letting your guard down while watchign a horror movie!” Kyuhyun exclaims, still grinning and laughing as Sungmin continues to hit him, this time having tossed the book away, the blows getting steadily softer until Sungmin crosses his arms and settles for glaring and the man underneath him.
“Brat. Come on, watch it with me.” Sungmin says before getting off, grinning at Ryeowook who looks up from his book and sighs, shaking his head. Kyuhyun gets up and follows his hyung out to the livingroom, rewinding the movie to where it was before sitting down beside Sungmin and starting it again.
