Old School friends
Checking through my mail box I found a message from an very old school friend who found me from the friends reunited page. The unfortunate thing is I don't subscribe to the thing so there is no direct way for me to contact him.
Message read quite simply "Do you remember me", being one of the twins that went to the same primary and the first secondary school I went to, it's not too hard to remember them. I'll have to figure out how to get in touch short of subscribing to the friends reunited page since I don't use it that often to make it worthwhile subscribing to.
Perhaps it is coincidence, just prior to the twin contacting me, I'd been thinking a little bit about a girl I knew from my second high school. Lisa Welch. (This is to be confused not the girl in the school year I was in but a few years younger) There's somehwat complicated history there, some old anger towards this girl, but twenty years on, no longer feel angry towards her but curious to how she is doing now.
Other news, was listening to the commentary for the Isreal Vs Russia football match on skynews. I have to say I haven't ever been on the edge of my seat as I had the other night just listening to commentary without actually watching the match. The result was very important to the England national team as for England to qualify Isreal had to avoid defeat. I thought international rugby was stressful to watch, this just about topped it all. Blimey!
