San Diego Comic Con
I am going to the San Diego Comic-Con (2010) on Wednesday morning with my BFF. I can't wait. But before I go I wanted to make a few promises to myself with regard to what I wanted to do, what I can't forget to do and what I should not do. This is my Geek Prom Promise:
I, Kevin Wolfhard, hereby promise to
- make sure my camera's settings are perfect before I leave for San Diego
- take more pictures of people in costume than last year
- take pictures of Marion with people in costume
- have my picture taken with Marion
- have my picture taken with people in costume
- have my picture taken with people in costume AND Marion
- laugh my ass off at the Patton Oswalt comedy gig at the House of Blues (tickets bought as a birthday gift from Marion)
- manage seeing BOTH Spartacus and True Blood panels.
- get to the line-up at 5:30 am so I can get a good seat to take good pictures of assorted actors, writers and directors
- eat the best Spanish food and drink a killer mojito at Cafe Sevilla
- order a pasta dish that is mixed in a pecorino cheese bowl right at my table at Merk's Italian Bistro
- manage seeing the entire Exhibit Hall the first day
- try my hardest to get into one of the many Con parties
- enjoy myself while amongst what is known as GEEK STENCH in the Exhibit Hall
- don't get burned out on Saturday and flip out on an overweight woman whose butt covers half of my own chair
- talk to people, read my kindle and generally have fun in the line-up to Ballroom 20
