Some things are great.
And some of those great things are the way that logs still stick around on the Internet--I don't know whose idea it was to start doing the character journals on FLegends, but I'm really glad that it spread around, because with all of my computer moves, I've had a lot of trouble holding on to my old logs. It's been really nice to flip through again. It's made me relive some of the great times, and also reconsider a few of my old methods.
(I would so like to MU* again sometime. Maybe nowish.)
But that? I can probably detail that, but not just now, except to say that none of that would have been anywhere near as much fun without the players that were around for it. I forgot, too, how much fun it is to play the villain, and how that's doubled when people are willing and really want to play along. And I'll have to remember to make clear next time just how /awesome/ those people are for doing it.
But anyway, it's near the end of the year, and it's been a big one. Or maybe it's been a big one because it hasn't been so big. But, I finally have fairly regular internet again, and coming back to look over all of this has made me realize how much I miss it.
Still, happy holidays to everyone who still has one in them. (Today's Christmas, my time! Yaay, EST!) And I hope that everyone else has a chance to think on things and people they love, or at least enjoy.
