Today was my birthday, and it was one of the best I've had, even if I'm not entirely sure why. I got to spend some time with people, and have been reconnecting with someone who's been gone for a long time--everything looks to be on the way up, as has slowly been happening anyway. It's more noticeable today--but then, maybe I was looking for it.
It made me think a lot, though, and has sort of given me the feeling that I need to move on more--you can't go back, and all. Even to some places that were previously nice, you can't go back.
But I think I'd rather go forward, anyway. Here's hoping this next year is better.
