There's a skittering in my ceiling!  A scratchy little scampering of tiny little clawed paws.  Except when the skittering sounds more like a large cat!!  I don't think I'm being haunted.  I'm pretty sure it's not a poltergeist.  No flickering lights or clanking chains to be heard.  And no mouse traps at the supermarket this afternoon either!  ( Read more... )

The boss made me get my wrist checked out by my doctor (had a fall at work a few days ago).  I had been headed to the carpark at the end of the day, tripped over uneven paving and *smack* - down I went (but most impressively, in my opinion, I held onto my handbag the whole time!).  Verdict - I'm fine (well, I knew that).

Went shopping on Sunday for flowers to have delivered to a friend in hospital.  Forgot to do it Friday when I could have walked in to the florist and chosen an arrangement, so ended up doing it over the net.  Apparently I did very well.  Carole rang to say thanks and how lovely they are - the arrangement that she described sounded grander than it ( Read more... )
