Well, I am officially done with Western. I can't say that I am happy about this because I did really learn to like it, but I think in the end I will be happier with my decision to leave. I do not ever regret choosing Western because I needed the experience of being home and meeting new people, the university feel and all that stuff. I know I will always look back upon this semester as one of the best 4 months of my life because of the lessons I have learned, the people of I have met, and the things that I have experienced. I hope to keep in touch with everyone I made friends with at Western by going back to visit and online and such.
So, after coming home and unpacking most of the day on Friday, I stayed home on Friday night to just rest for a while...and think about things too. It was a lot harder to leave Western than I thought it was going to be, so I needed some time to think about things. On Saturday my parents and I got up and drove to E.L. to go to a transfer students program and tour at Michigan State. I really liked the presentation and I really felt like it was a good fit. My dad said at one point "Weren't we supposed to be on this tour last year?" And that is what I thought also, but again I enjoyed my semester at Western and I wouldn't trade that for anything...so whatever. So, it looks like it's going to be Michigan State next fall, and I am pretty excited. I have wanted to go there since 7th grade or so, and my dad is really excited because he loves State also. It is also an excellent school for business and it is on the list of "Top 50 business schools in the United States." I just have to get through this next semester at Delta and then on to bigger and better things. I told my mom that next fall we can call it "College, Part Two" and she just laughed.
Tomorrow I start up at the credit union again working four days a week...this is exciting and I will be making a lot of money which is always a good thing.
So, hope everyone is doing well. Good luck on finals, and I can't wait to see everyone home this week!
