Last weeks of summer
So. Everyone else is moving in, buying books, and otherwise gearing up to go back to school. I would have thought that that would make me nervous and eager, thinking of my own fall semester and the challenges I will face, but I feel completely relaxed. After all, I still have two full weeks of nothing, while everyone else is busy with school. And even once I leave, regular classes don't start until the last week in September.
I do have a lot of things to do before I leave, but lately I've been letting them slide, feeling as though there is plenty of time to do everything. And there will be.
The last week or so has been wonderful. I'm feeling pretty good -- very relaxed, like I said, which gives me confidence in things. It's a paradox, because the more I hang around here, the more I don't want to leave, but also the more I feel I'll be able to handle things once I'm in France.
