Penelope Clearwater... and other things
It is times like this were I ask myself if being a wizard is worth all of this. Today the corridors were littered with drunks; everyone was walking to and from class with a glassy look in their red eyes. I guess they all deserve it, but still I hate to see everyone looking so bad.
Professor McGonagall was out sick today for some reason, and an alumnus with took her place for class. Penelope Clearwater is one... WOW... a very nice looking girl, but boy is she harsh! I was taking an extra set of notes for Susan today because I knew whatever she wrote might not make any sense. I hurriedly passed between two rolls of parchment trying to make sure it was right, but Penelope saw me and took ten points for not paying attention to her enough. After I told her what I was doing, she awarded five points. Did she get into the liquor too? Her big hazel eyes weren’t bloodshot, and when she moved her long legs she didn’t swagger… umm… Yeah, Transfigurations was really lovely today.
I am hoping that tomorrow speeds by with no trouble because I am itching to practice Saturday morning. I think we all need it after Justin’s nude broom flight and Susan’s drinking binge. Quidditch players need to stick together!
Susan, I have some notes for you if you want them if you want them, I will leave them one the mantel because I think I might go to bed early because I am really, really tired. I wonder if Percy is still going out with Penelope…
