Not just vending machines but sweets brought in by vendors or cow-orkers. Also, how many of the companies that do not provide workout facilities or weight managment programs, do have birthday cake once a month (which is not a big deal until it becomes two-three times a week that some goody is in the kitchen).
Oh and the stair idea...the doors to the stairwell are locked. You can exit to the stairwell, but not enter the floor from the stairwell. Plus, I _might_ be up for 8 flights to my office, but I'm in a 30 story floor. 30 stories takes too long for even fit people.
