Update and stuff
Wow, been a while since I last wrote anything here...2 months again...oops!
Been back in college, it's been fun! The course is nicer this year, unfortunately I haven't gotten into the habit of actually going to things so I'm gonna find it pretty rough come December. I've also been going out drinking an awwwwful lot, which is bad but it's actually been pretty awesome, rarely a bad night! Still though, it's time I took a break so gonna try go a week without drinking, starting tonight!
What else....girls-wise I'm still sort of on the search for a girlfriend, mind you I've been mostly slutting it around over the last few weeks really, the right girl just hasn't showed up yet. There is one I think might be the right girl, but I don't really know her that well yet, and aint sure if she likes me back yet. She's a tricky one, if it was any other girl I'd be sure she likes me by her actions, but with this one it's entirely possible that she doesn't. Which is kinda fun :) once I don't get it wrong! Only problem is, as always with these situations, I like her as a friend, too, so if she doesn't like me back I'd much rather stay friends and get over her and have a new friend than try and fuck it up. But that's also against the whole follow-your-heart-take-risks idea. I dunno! She's also sort of...different mindset to what I'm used to, sorta hippyish, which is cool and all, I just don't even know if she'd like a boyfriend or whatever, whether she likes me or not! But sura! She's awfully pretty and nice and cool though...should be talking to her over the next few days again anyway, we'll see how it goes!
Otherwise....who am I kidding? I just want to do a quiz! For aptness, I have stumbled upon one to do with girls. Yes, my entire livejournal seems to be centered on girls, as does my life, but I'm not sure what else to write about. I'm still writing new music all the time, I'm still juggling loads of hours a week. Oh, I drum now, that's something new. African drum circle thing, it's quite fun. Very hippy.
The Love List!
1. Gender and orientation: ..female and straight, please!
2. Religion: Doesn't bother me at all really. It'd be cool if they have any sort of interest, be it in being an atheist or a stringent muslim..
3. Spirituality: I tend to mean spirituality when I say religion and vice versa. I think it's all the same area, really. So yeah, again don't mind, once they're not one of those who talk about how they're very spiritual rather than religious. I'm not even sure why but that really annoys me. And they don't seem to even think about it much at all. They just decide one day that they're spiritual...what the hell does being very spiritual mean? I'm all for energy and karma and stuff, but that annoys me. Rant rant rant.
4. Profession: Nurse. Nah I don't know again...this seems to be a recurring answer. I guess I probably wouldn't like it if they did the same as me. I'd get competitive. Same way I don't tend to want girls who play the piano too. That's my instrument. Stay away from my instrument.
5. Educational level: While it doesn't bother me, being in college would be good, me being in college and all. But that is just for convenience,. David doesn't care how smart you are, once you're stupid enough to love him.
6. Children: Has kids? Wants kids? Childfree? Has kids would be a lil dodgy at my age. Which is horrible isn't it....guess I wouldn't rule it out, but I don't think <21 year olds with kids would tend to be dating anyway. But what do I know? Otherwise I don't know. Kids eventually would be cool. But not...anytime soon!
7. Style or scene: mainstream, alt, geeky, doesn't matter, what? All good, dunno if geeky would work as I tend to...do fun things alot instead of study, but again that's just a convenience factor. And also it's kinda good to not be with your partner allll the time anyway, so maybe it'd be good if they had entirely different ideas of fun? Hmm..
8. Activities: Juggler's are good as I spend an awful lot of my time at juggling or hanging out with jugglers. And it's very hard to tell who's better in juggling so perhaps I wouldn't get competitive. Last girlfriend was a juggler, that aspect was good. There's not all that many jugglers though, and it really doesn't bother me. But yeah, that'd be one thing that'd make a girl....more attractive, I guess!
9. Housekeeping: Don't mind, once they don't judge me for being ridiculously messy!
10. Politics: I don't know an awful lot about politics. I probably wouldn't go for someone who's really into politics though, as they tend to talk about that sort of thing and I'm really not all that interested..
11. Personality: Oh oh oh, this one I do care about! Finally! They must be kind, friendly, all those kinda things, and not lie. And they must really like me. I know that's not really a personality trait but I'd hate to be in a near one-way relationship..
12. Body type: Once they're not fat or taller than me, don't mind!
13. Relationship style preferred: monogamous, polyamorous, etc? Purely monogamous! Sharing aint really for me I don't think..
14. Social style: Muh? I don't know what this means...
15. Type of background: Rich would be kinda cool actually. If they had a car and stuff now that I don't have a car. But I'd hardly like a girl more/less for it, it'd just be handy. Especially if she doesn't live near me or near college, as it'd be quite hard to see her cycling in the rain and whatnot lots of the time.
16. Pets or no? Pets are awesome. Most college girls aint gonna have pets though, so can't say it bothers me. They mustn't hate animals though, cus ve love ze animals
17. Smoking or no? Preferably no, but no biggy.
18. Drugs? Again the same, as I don't do any drugs this weather, and I wouldn't like to be tempted every week or two, but again no biggy!
19. Sex? Not important to me, strangely. I'd hope...the sex would be enjoyable for both parties? I don't think it should be a basis for a relationship though...
20. Don't forget the most important list item: This person is available and loves me as much as I love them. <-- that...that's not a question?!
