To start off with your inspired20in20 entry, I love the complexity and dashes of blue in 6. 8 is probably my favorite of these 20 icons. Your texture use and coloring is great, and that stock image just works so well juxtaposed with Will in front of it. 9 has a nice, clean sense of minimalism. 11 has such beautiful colors playing with one another. The orange and blue really pop on their own because they're so complementary, and I like that the gray bars in front obscure his face because that really does fit with the mystery genre well.
Your hannibal20in20 entry also has a lot of great icons. Dark is so creepy and obscure and perfect for the show. Black & White has great texture use, and I like that you duplicated his image multiple times because it gives a jarring visual, which is perfect for the uncertainty of his character to others. 2 Images also has a pretty cool composition, as does Silhouette. And AC4 has that lovely washed out pastel coloring that I tend to really love when it's done well, as you've shown here.
This is crazy, it's like you're me or something. :D
The insp20in20 was a good challenge; just trying to find the right caps to depict the genres, was a task. So I'm glad you pointed out 11 because that was exactly what I was hoping for, with the bars across his face. 8 was pure luck because in my folder, the cap of the shooting target was right after that cap of Will shooting. It was a sign; don't fight it, I say. :D
Dark was the first one I did, thank you for noticing about the mood I was trying to portray with it. I wanted it to set the tone for the rest of the icons because y'know, it's Hannibal. Alas, the muse has its own way of making you do things. The next few icons I did were the pastel-y ones; glad that you like AC4. I'm also happy that you interpret B&W that way. I just love Lecter's story.
And yes, there are so many Hannibal icons out this month, I'm loving it too! Thank you so much for checking mine out!
