Swim Test
Let's just say that the swim test a bit more involved than my professors lead us to believe. We had a lecture on proper snorkeling protocol around 5:30. Then we got in the water at 7:00. We swam... or rather floundered... and puttered around. I am not comfortable in the water anymore. It was so weird being submerged. When I was a child, I remember imagining being a fish... what a distant memory. Anyways, I did not bring my fins so I could not practice using them. Turns out our swim test/lesson ended at 9:00pm. Our profs said that we would be done around 7:30. LIES! haha Well, swimming is exhausting and I will be sore tomorrow. Being in good running shape is useless in the water.
Well, I got back and then had dinner with Whit and Debs at Cha-am. I'm glad it was still open. Goodness, I love that place. We ended up getting an interesting tangy salad, pork and eggplant curry and pad thai. I didn't get Thai iced tea b/c that would have meant staying up really late and peeing every five minutes. We got our food in record time because they close at 10 and they were ready to pack up and go home. At least we weren't the last ones to leave.
i had intended on studying for my quiz tomorrow... but I don't think that I will. I'm so drained. Time for bed. Peace OUT
