Bodega Bay
woo! that trip was fun. I cannot wait to leave for Mo'orea. fo' SHIZ
Trip Highlights:
-Learning about the coastal plant ecosystem- I really love California
-Meeting and talking with my classmates. Everyone's so hilarious. I think I may have come off a bit strange. Normally, I'm a little bit more shy... but not this time. I ate a couple tiny! worms for $5. Geez, people we eat random crap like this all the time. In my defense, I think I was a bit excited about trying raw oysters and then having beer. I'm fine, BTW.
-Catching a yearling western fence lizard in the bathroom
-catching a cute little frog on the spider hunt w/ Rosie
-Playing with hermit crabs at the tidepools in Bodega Bay
-Seeing an urchin try to *nom* on seaweed. Craze teeth (aristotle's lantern)!!
-Watching Jameson break into Brianna's car b/c the lock wasn't working
-eating lunch on a shell mound of the Miwok
-watching little shorebirds skitter by the surf
-jump-roping w/ bull kelp
-seeing harbor seals
-pillow basalts!
-sea palms
-bothering a rather large araneidae
Trip lows?
-lost my hand lens! COME ON! It's only been a day. epic fail. hahaa
-getting sand mat (freaking devil's plant) stuck in my feet.
-seeing a squashed cat on the road :(
-getting a little carsick on the way back [i just felt nauseated] s'all good
