So today is the last day of class, after spending a full year hangin out. And honestly, im a bit sad. My professors just gave roses to all of us graduating (eeek), and we're wrapping up presentations and saying goodbyes.
I really love this school. I've learned more here than anywhere else, and I've only been here a year. I always was dissapointed when the quarters ended in the community college I went to, because I would get up, leave the classroom, and not remember anyone i had spent the last three months withs name, personality, world view.... there was nothing personal about it, and I think that was a partial reason why I was stoned all the time.... that and I was 15. You know, either or. But I've met so many people here. Quite a few fucks, for sure, but for the most part some decent intelligent folks who have opened up my experience with the world. Understanding people is so important.
I have learned how to interact in the classroom, and have realized the importance of expressing my ideas. I have been rewarded for risking exploration of concepts in my own mind, both by peers and in my personal development.
Its been fantastic.
