He is the sole reason I didn't completely fall apart after Sandy died. She was the love of my life, my wife, my partner, and she gave me the greatest gift anyone could ask for when she gave birth to our son just a few short months before her death. God, she loved that little boy.
Yes, the little guy who is in the kitchen--in full view of his mother--dumping a box of Cheerios on the floor is what I'm happy about right now. Really the only thing I've been happy about in a long time.
