Phew. It was a packed and tiresome few days, but it was so much fun, too. I actually came back on Friday, but I've been too exhausted (and a little lazy >_>) to upload pictures and make a post.
Without further ado~
We woke up bright and early (despite the fact we only slept for four hours or less) and got into the park when it opened at 8AM. I showed them my voucher and ID and got my free birthday park ticket. Yay! Then I received a button that said "Happy Birthday" on it, and I would get happy birthday wishes from various cast members throughout the day. It's quite an experience x)
Of course Sleeping Beauty's castle has to be one of the first pictures.
To take advantage of the early morning short lines, we grabbed a FastPass for Space Mountain and then headed for Indiana Jones. Two of the best rides at Disneyland, in my opinion =]
The temple from Indie as we waited in the super short line. Funny how a 20 minute wait for a ride is considered super short.
To my dismay, my friends wanted to go to Haunted Mansion, so I went along, too... I'm not very fond of this ride >_>
I forgot to pull my camera out, but we rode Pirates of the Caribbean next. A nice, cool, relaxing water ride. We then left Adventureland and headed to Frontierland.
Where we then rode Big Thunder.
I'm not sure why we were so fascinated, but we found a duck and her ducklings in the pond outside of Big Thunder.
At this point, it was time to use our FastPasses and go back to Space Mountain. One of my favorite rides there.
We've only been in the park for an hour and a half at this point XD Since we found ourselves in Tomorrowland, we headed to Star Tours.
My friends and I being dorks and playing with the mirror wall as we waited in line.
We made our way out of Tomorrowland and into Fantasyland. On our way, we passed by the Finding Nemo ride, but the line was ridiculously long, so we decided to go later at night.
To our luck and surprise, we found the Queen from Snow White! My friend and I got so excited we ran into each other like complete idiots XD;;
Here she's signing my friend's ticket because she forgot her autograph book.
Storybook Land time! It's a very cute ride filled with miniature buildings from various movies (as you will soon see).
I was always a little put off by the ride because we would have to go into Monstro's mouth...
Agrabah from Aladdin.
The lamp. Sorry it's kinda blurred. The Cave of Wonders was a bit darker and I forgot to turn the flash on.
Cinderella's castle. Can you spot her pumpkin carriage? =]
Gepetto's workshop.
Prince Eric's castle from The Little Mermaid.
We went on a tour of Sleeping Beauty's castle next.
The entire story book was laid out across the castle, but I'll only post the first page.
It was pretty neat. They had various animated panels from the story.
Her dress changed from pink to blue like at the end of the movie. I thought it was cute XD
We visited Snow White's Wishing Well and made a wish.
Some performing pirates. They were really good and amusing, but we were hungry so we only stayed for two of their songs.
Lunch break at Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney!
We bloated ourselves so we decided no wild rides for a while. I had never been on Mark Twain's boat before, so that's where we headed. To my dismay, I had a small headache at this point and I actually drifted off and took a small nap >_>
Jungle Cruise is always an entertaining ride. Our skipper's corny jokes made me laugh and all of a sudden, my headache was gone! =D
We now headed back to Main Street to grab seats for the parade.
Being the band geeks that my friend and I are, we were very interested in the All-American College Band that played. I would kill to play with them.
The parade begins! It was called "Celebrate! A Street Party" and it wasn't as pretty to look at as some of the other parades, but it was still fun all the same. We had a chance to go out into the street and dance with the characters and it was really interactive. Just a really fun and light parade.
At this point, I think I should mention that I have a slight obsession infatuation liking of Peter Pan. Needless to say, I took quite a montage of pictures of him, but I've only posted a select few to spare all of you XD;;
When the parade ended, we made our way to the Dumbo ride.
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was next because we had never ridden it before. It actually wasn't so... wild.
The sky was getting dark, so we grabbed a seat for the fireworks show in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle.
A vendor walked by with some really cool-looking light-up balloons. The cost? $12 each o_o
The fireworks begin! Theme: "Magical." Unfortunately, my camera was running on low battery at this point, so I couldn't take many pictures of the fireworks.
Dumbo flies!! You could just hear the crowd gasp and applaud when he flew out from behind the trees.
We rushed and weaved our way through the thick crowd to the Rivers of America to catch the Fantasmic show. When I took it out to take some more pictures, my camera completely died, which made me very sad. But here's a link to the entire show if you're interested. I didn't tape this, I just found it.

Our last ride of the night was Finding Nemo, followed by some souvenir shopping in stores. We were so exhausted by the end of the day that we were literally dragging our feet back to the hotel.
All in all, a fun-filled and tiresome day, but very much worth it ♥
