CNY 2015
Chinese New Year has come and gone.
It was so boring.....
Reunion dinner is just like any other day simply because our family is small.
We live with the in-laws and being the good children that we are, we eat dinner at home every single day except when we get invited to wedding dinners which is rare.
The husband only has 1 sister who has only 1 child so really, the house is not that packed or rowdy during CNY.
We stayed at home most of the time.
My in-laws are the eldest in their family so there were visitors but not many.
Kids played a bit among themselves but mostly had to study for the coming CA1 tests.
I dread forcing my kids to study during public holidays and really cannot recall my mum forcing us to study during CNY when we were younger.
Did she not bother or were there no tests during the CNY period?
I don't know and I'm guessing my mum can't remember too.
