Social standards

In my last blog entry, I mentioned that my middle child is getting difficult to control.
I have been getting so many phone calls from different teachers this month and everyday he 'suprises' us with some new bad behaviour :(

Most teachers feedback that he's a dreamer and is unable to focus/concentrate even though he is seated right in front of the teacher.
During class he would fiddle with his stationery, count his allowance and play with his shoe laces.
When I found out about these, I tried to take away the distractions.  Now he only has the bare neccesscities in his pencil case, brings a $2 note + $1 coin and changed his shoes to sticky velcro.

Just before I changed his shoes, he tied his left lace with his right lace!
I supposed he tried to undo them but the more he tried, the tighter the knot until it became a dead knot.
He couldn't walk with both shoes tied together and had no choice but to ask his teacher for help.
He even tripped and suffered a big bruise on his knee.
Teacher claimed to have tried but couldn't undo the knot and in the end had to cut the laces.
Was it funny?
I secretly thought it was hilarious when his teached called me and my intention was just to tell my boy off and make him promise not to do it again.
However the first thing he said to me after school was that some other boy had cut his shoe laces!
My small skinny liar!  It wasn't that funny anymore and I was really mad that he lied instead of owing up.

Another occasion teacher called to complaint that my boy used valguar language & sign after losing a football game.   REally!! Found it quite unbelieveable as he doesn't use bad language at home :(

Three days ago, he taekwondo kicked his friend in the chest!!
His explanation was that he was being challenged to do it :(
All 3 kids just took their yellow belt grading but none showed off their 'skill' except him.......

The day before, he taekwondo kicked another 4 of his friends during rugby game.

Yesterday he took a marker and scribbled on someone else's textbook!

I am desperate!  He wants our attention?? He's got our attention but in the wrong way and because of his actions, he's being punished almost everyday:(

I don't know what is wrong.....seems like he is immature and is unable to live up to acceptable social behaviour in school.
He isn't being invited to his classmates' birthday parties and when i had a playdate during the March hols, not many wanted to come.  I feel so sad for him

My older boy on the other hand is so sociable that everyone wanted to come to the playdate.
