colly is sitting next to me eating breton butter biscuits and talking about moon cups :) brittany was really lovely, we spent the first part of the week in our little flat with its little blue bunk beds and painting of the sea. went swimming and got sandy toes. mamig was a bit much, bless her. spent the next half of the week in jeanette nd charles's house. was beautiful, they had a pyranean mountain dog who was the size of a small pony and knocked everything off tables with her tail. she was called Alud which means avalanche (possibly in spanish) and her fur was thick and soft and white and she was the gentlest laziest thing ive ever met. loved living with charles and jeanette, seeing all their little quirks and mannerisms again, i like the way jeanette gestures when she talks and her silver-white hair, dark eyes and tanned skin. watching charles walks because his legs are so long, folding and unfolding in a strange fluid motion. life slowly flowing, measured by the tides. sometimes its nice living another persons life.
