Babies are so beautiful.
I saw one get baptized this morning in mass. No, I'm not catholic, but I've been learning about the demonination. Quite interesting. Anyway, the baby was so fragile, innocent, and vulnerable. I teared up.

Speaking of babies. We went to see Victor's band last night. I only caught a song and a half. It was worth it, though. Dinner at Chime's was fun. How can you not have a good time with fun people?

Work was great today, because I didn't have to do it.

I have vacation time that I don't want to lose. I need to find an adventure that's affordable, fun, and about a week long. I really just want to fly somewhere cool... or take a scenic drive. Going out to northern california would be cool. Or partying it up in the Keys. Or flying up to the Great Lakes. Ya know, going somewhere where it is normally too cold to visit in the fall or winter... or even spring. Any ideas?

I was pondering about the Louisiana Wind Symphony in the shower today. It's so goin to happen in my lifetime, because I'm gonna make it happen. Bringing good, exciting music to the community while providing jobs for artists. A group of musicians and not machines playing music that only a person with a soul could breathe life into. All it would need to do is make enough money to support itself. If one could provide enough money to start it, built it a facility, etc...that's all the outside money it would need. All it would need is a very active and rich founder. One who doesn't care about making money off of it, but one who cares about enriching the area.

School is going fine. I have above 100% average in my chem 1202 class. I found out that I can't get football tickets until freshmen do...that was pretty exciting to find out about. I guess I better drop Roy band, before he sees that I signed up. (I needed 1 hour to be full time.) I'm waiting for the purge date to get my physics class I need. They're goin to purge the heck out of those classes.

My recital music is coming along great. I am supposed to only practice an hour every morning, but I stretch it out, so I won't have time to study as much. So it's more like 2 hours. I'm pretty good at Weber's Grande Duo COncertante. I bought an edition that has a CD with the piano acccompaniment on it. I bought it thinking that it was going to be a cheesy-ass pianist. To my great delight, it is legit player. Very musical. I endulge myself everyday by playing with the CD. It's time for more music for the Romantic program. The 3 Romances by Schubert are a little boring. I'm only goin to play the 2nd movement. Oh, and I'm only going to play the 2nd and 3rd movement of the Weber. The first mvmt is too long...and kind of pointless.

I guess that's about all. Here here to beer, food, running, and ...um.. babies!
