today is gonna be the day that they're gonna give it back to you
this morning began with an outstanding cup of coffee, the backyardigans, and grey's anatomy. i can't think of a better way to start of a saturday.
i love that we have letter and number magnets on our fridge. and that we made it say the square root of duck. outstanding.
i got a lot done in the last few days. i almost have everything done for my teacher education application. i don't have to take the praxis I and my gpa is where it needs to be [for their standards at least]. the only thing left to do for that is get my two recommendation sheets filled out. i've been writing my teaching philosophy and thinking about student teaching and i'm starting to get really excited about teaching music. i'm still scared about getting up in front of a class and teaching, but once i start doing that more in methods/conducting classes i'm sure i'll be more comfortable. [sidenote: i just saw a dog dyed bright blue on tv. people are ridiculous.] i finally had time to spend some time with people this week, which was pretty amazing. i'm feeling better now but i still don't sound like me. that will come i suppose. i haven't been able to sing in over two weeks and it's killing me. this is not okay.
goals for this week:
-do nyc ballet workout at least three times.
-clean off desk.
-finish picking out repertoire for this semester.
-do all the notes for anthropology.
-get rid of the "I"s from last semester.
these will be accomplished. yes.
