my mom pointed out this verse to me the other day. i think it will help me get through this year.
"trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

katie and i have been taping the nick jr. show "the backyardigans" and watching it every day. it's pretty much amazing. if you don't know what it is, you should look it up. there's a penguin named pablo. that should be motivation enough. oh, and that's what the title of this entry comes from. they were samurai who made pie. yeah.
today was a good day.
apparently, i say ridiculous things at night. i also have a million songs running through my head. but i guess that's not really much more different than during the day. now is the time for sleeping.
