1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Traveled to Mexico, scuba dived in cenotes in Yucatan, rode a motorbike, been unemployed officially, lived with my parents again for a while, having an article published in a book!
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Some of them yes but actually I have to look them up.
I made new ones:
~ make myself a dreamcatcher
~ learn drawing
~ find "my home" And decorate it
~ find my way/myself jobwise
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
yes, nevena, tanya had girls and kill_inhibition had twins!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My great-aunt and it's ok really
5. What countries did you visit?
El Salvador, Denmark, Skane in Sweden, Mexico now and passing through Honduras and Guatemala. Oh and I forget Switzerland and France!
6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
A turn in my job/professional life and a boyfriend
7. What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I think none... I can't think of any so that says it all no?
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Having accomplished working in Nicaragua for 2 years until my contract had ended
9. What was your biggest failure?
Leaving behind my dog Laica
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Mmh I have had this fungus on my toe for like forever... And it still looks strange. I passed out on the main street of Rosita due to stress, pressure, heat etc and it took me several weeks to recover emotionally.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
bought? Huh? A linen towel in a factory in Sweden ♥
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My mom's
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
H. Not depressed though. And also china's when she had alcohol poisoning was pretty hard for me.
14. Where did most of your money go?Traveling in Denmark & Sweden and transportation generally in all countries I have been to in 2012.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Scuba diving in cenotes, meeting Cindy again to celebrate birthdays!! Seeing my friends again, having my horoscope read...
16. What song will always remind you of 2012?
Arcangel feat. Daddy Yankee - Guaya. It was the song I listened to non-stop when flying home to Austria in September.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
called my friends at home, gone to the beach on weekends
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Been lazy, too little exercise...
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it in Tulum with my travel buddy. It was an odd day. We were on the beach, then at night had dinner, then went to church to have some x-mas spirit in a tropical area & there was party and piñata at the hostel we stayed. It was certainly different!
21. How will you be spending New Year’s Eve?
We spent it in Mazunte, Pacific side of Mexico. It was a night full of ups & downs for me. And there was a huge techno party on the beach - we danced until the sun had risen till 8 am and then I had a swim in the sea!
It was impressive and very memorable!
22. Did you fall in love in 2012?
Maybe I have fallen in love with love but not with the guys I had.
23. How many one-night stands?
No one-night stands but lovers ;)
24. What was your favourite TV program?
Downtown Abbey
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate is a very strong word. No!
26. What was the best book you read?Mmh I have to think. Most likely Momo by Michael Ende! It's just a fairytale but such a true one. now more than ever.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Paul Banks new album released in October.
28. What did you want and get?
Lots of happy moments in Nicaragua and also in Austria
29.What did you want and not get?
A challenging job after Nicaragua but maybe I didn't want it that much.
30. What was your favourite film that you saw for the first time this year?
Of the few films that I have watched, I couldn't make out a favorite one! Sorry
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 34 & was scuba diving in the cenote Dos Ojos with Brenda and at night we all had Nicaraguan rum at my hostel with bian & her friends!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A realistic possibility to having my dog Laica ♥ with me.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012?
Summery, strong colors, leggings & miniskirts, tube t-shirts & dresses (in Austria mostly dresses or skirts & layers of shirts with panty hoses & boots)
34. What kept you sane?
I did somehow! My mom also did a good job. black humor about situations in Nicaragua too.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Sinan Ozen
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
I guess the whole mess Europe is in just shocked me.
37. Who did you miss?
My Friends from Austria & my family
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Nora my co-worker in Rosita & Anja, my travel buddy but also Gesima, a German lady. And my astrologist impressed me big time, though I had met her 19 years ago so it's not a new person technically.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2012.
Don't believe any man's words, just wait & you will see his behavior shows you the truth.
