trivial stuff
Somebody has been killed in the hotel, where we stayed the last time when we were in Rosita. The owner has disappeared and a lot of money was stolen. It was such a nice hotel and they were even constructing a second floor... well.
We are having a hurricane hoovering over the coast (and a lot of rain this week!!), so there is a chance that they cancel my flight to Rosita on Sunday. So I might be able to celebrate my friend's son's birthday. He will turn 13. I hope I can!!!
I discovered kick-ass music this week!!! seriously. I discovered a band called HURTS and some funny disco groove band from the 70ies called OZO.
Plus I finally downloaded the new Interpol album - Interpol ♥ is one of my all-time fave groups, just in case you don't know - I am getting used to it. I heard a lot of criticism about it, like the band is not what they used to be 8 years ago! But it's normal changing your style in music, I believe. And at the same time I discovered a collection of rarieties by them... And I am in LOVE with it :)
I haven't been thrilled by new music discoveries for a while. And as you know, I am always interested in getting to know, new artists/bands. Just let me know...
And I miss going to concerts, HURTS are touring right now.. Interpol is on tour as well. It's not fair, I have been waiting to see them live for more than 5 years... AND on Nov 18 they are in Vienna. Darn!
I have also been wanting to make 1-2 different mixes and put them up for download here... we'll see!
