back again
just dropping in to let you know I am back again.. meaning I am back in Managua for a while. I still don't know when I will go on my next trip but this afternoon I will discuss next steps with my supervisor!
I can't tell you how intense those three weeks have been. If I tell you it might have been the most intense experience of my life, you probably won't believe it. Because somehow it felt like being sent off just for being (or bearing with!) myself... of course there were a lot of people around me, but when you feel you don't belong to them, you are on your own. Plus it was so hard doing nothing first of all, and second we do not feel good doing nothing, we feel bad, not useful... duh. As I said it was not easy, but I am still alive :)
Somehow I was so looking forward to coming back to Managua but now it feels totally strange and irritating to me... Yep, I have been on an emotional rollercoaster!
Anyway, what really shocked me upon coming back to Managua was finding out that my bosses' house burnt COMPLETELY down!!!!!! I mean, nothing is left. I cannot even imagine how one must feel losing EVERTYHING. and it was such wonderful house (I was there once!)... supposedly the fire was caused by a short-circut. With recurring power cuts and the quality of wiring here, it's very plausible. Still I am shocked!
Well, I am at work now so I cannot post more, but I want to post photos and update more in the next few days..
PLUS I accomplished writing letters to those lovely chicks in the last three weeks:

and one for my mom and one for an other friend at home.
and a letter to carameli was sent before my leaving, so you should have received it by now, right?!
