Patrick Stewart FTW
Got other stuff, to say, but I'll skip most of it.
Key point: Went to see The Tempest, with Patrick Stewart as Prospero, and it was AWESOME.
It was well acted and choreographed, and Stewart and the actor playing Ariel were both particularly good. There were some touches that were particularly pleasing to the House of Fail (Prospero doing a ranged head butt, The second act starting by the lights going dead and a large explosion on stage, stuff like that).
Ariel was portrayed very interestingly - rather than a vivacious and airborne sprite, he was more like a demonic butler - made up corpse white, in a black trenchcoat, he glided every where with slow inevitability (like the Gentlemen in Hush but much less manic). I still think Daniel Evans was better.
All things considered, entirely awesome.
