new English drama - Emma

Yeah, I know I'm slow. Haven't realize for ages I can watch English drama here, lol ^^;;

Recently watched Tess Of The D'Urbervilles. And re-watched Pride and Prejudice.

I haven't seen the one with Timothy Dalton. It was well recieved and someday I will surely watch it.

No, I did not watched Merlin but I do not like Fantasy. I read Vampire & so Chick-Lit but it isn't Fantasy for real. But my boyfried watched and liked it. He is the one with a liking for Fantasy and Mystery. He loves to watch Heros too. I do not like that series, not even a little.
I prefer cheesy romances and Science Fiction. And no, Superman is not Science Fiction for me, it is Fantasy. I liked Pretender or old criminal series like Perry Mason, Ironside. I even like Cold Case even when the main actress of the series growes uglier and more artificial with each season.

My most favourite BBC Drama is Pride & Prejudice from 1995. I watch that series at least 4 times each year, sometimes more. Other series I like is Persuation (1995). Even when I like the book better it is very well made. Wives and Daugthers was nice too.

I do not like Tess because I LOVE Happy Endings and this book is too depressing for me. I do not understand the heroine and sometimes I want to kick her for hours. Maybe for the same reason I think that Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights it enormously overrated. It was so boring that I never finished it *yawn*.
