In The Year 2525
It's amazing how quickly the world changes. I was reminded of this fact when I opened my e-mail newsletter from Mequoda Daily. The topic of the day was the ever changing market of the internet, basically, with a focus on how marketers (like myself) need to adapt our strategies to fit the new generation.
I was absolutely run-through with chills upon reading these provided "facts:"
Just think where technology (and ourselves) will be in another ten years!

- Incoming freshmen have never used a card catalog to find a book.
- Text has always been hyper.
- They have always been able to read books on an electronic screen.
- They're always texting 1 n other.
- They are wireless, yet always connected.
- They grew up with and have outgrown faxing as a means of communication.
- "Google" has always been a verb.
- Text messaging is their email.
- For them, the Green Giant has always been Shrek, not the big guy picking vegetables.
Just think where technology (and ourselves) will be in another ten years!
