I dunno, it just irks me.
Well, that's not very interesting, is it? A lot of things irk me, obviously. I think I might try this again, only with random numbers (as I'm hopelessly bored, and have nothing better to do.)

It was fun.
Guh... I am not a very interesting person, apparently.
Anyway, I found this earler:

Boy, does that sum up how I felt when I played that game... I can only hope the next one will be better. Granted, Silent Hill 4 wasn't the worst game I ever played, but it did give me a sense of claustrophobia through most of it. I never did finish it, either.
And, for the record (aside from Silent Hill 3), the main characters were Harry, James, and Henry. I can't help but wonder if there's a William, or a Charles, or a Joseph somewhere in the near future. Also, I can't help but wonder if Steff and I are the only ones who ever came up with that kind of a connection. I doubt it was on purpose, as the game is created in Japan. However, whether the game was translated and re-worked for American culture, or it was very similar to the Japanese version, there are some interesting thoughts: For one, there were a lot of themes within the games themselves. Nods to movies, writers, and other games. In fact, the streets in Silent Hill were named after horror and science fiction writers. Also, there are obviously a lot of people who worked on these games...
Of course, I can't assume that when they created the Silent Hill games, they said, "Oh, let's name our main characters after officers on the Titanic! As if they didn't have damn bad luck, we'll slap their names on to these characters, then put them into a nightmarish land with no escape, and no alternative. It'll be so ironic." But, it would be nice to think that they might have been making a nod to those men who barely get a mention nowadays.
