So close...

... to reaching that famous happy ending.

Hey, it's been awhile since I last wrote anything. Was just wondering, have you people watched Enchanted already? I love it. Sure, it's your typical Disney movie and all but I stil L-O-V-E it! Maybe what I really like about it is Jon Mclaughlin's "So Close" (in my previous post)

The song is both really touching and sad at the same time. I've been listening to it over and over again these past few days.

Which brings me to this question: How many of you actually believe in "happily ever after"?
I do. Or at least I think I did. But now, I can't help but wonder (too much free time I guess), what comes after that? What if you get your happily ever after? Then what comes after that? Is it even possible to live happily every single day?

You see, after awhile I'm sure whatever that's making you happy (presumebaly love here) it has to stop. Because everything has an ending. If love is what's making you happy, then day by day you'll get use to that heart-beating, lovey-dovey things. You'll stop noticing the little things that made you happy in the first place. Then, would you still be happy? How can you wake up every day and feel all the dopamine rushing to your head? Dopamine. The chemical in your brain that makes you light-headed and feel as if you're on top of the world. It's just not possible for anybody to generate that much dopamine everyday. It'll wear your body system down.

So, what happens when it all fades away? When you're left with nothing and you have to wake up to reality? What do you do? Will you still believe in happily ever after?

so close, enchanted, happy ever after, jon mclaughlin
