Dilemma II...

So after asking the opinion of The Internets it turns out that it's actually cheaper to pay out the remainder of my contract and sign another contract for any of the phones that I was considering than it would to buy the handset outright(!). Considering I have 10 months to run on my deal at a rate of £35 per month I'm surprised to say the least

I think I'm one of the last people on the planet (besides my mother) that has never owned a mobile phone, and can't think of a use I'd have for one.

They are pretty ubiquitous now, although I do think that they're one of those items that we tend to think are indispensable but probably aren't.
