[drabble] Puppy
This another Meas/Roy drabble that i have finished. Hope you all like.
Roy swore. He swore that the little puff ball was out to get him. Every time he moved the thing was right under his feet. Meas brought the pup home from Fury’s claiming that Havoc begged him to take it. Wonder why. Note sarcasm.
It chewed on everything that could fit in its mouth, and had accidents every now and then. Sure it was cute but that innocent look is just a mask to hide the pup’s true intent. Mission Annoy the hell out of Roy or (M.A.H.R) for short. For more than half the time Roy felt as if the thing was trying to kill him.
“Meas I don’t feel safe.”
Meas who was currently playing tug-of-war with the little nuance looked up at Roy with a sort of concerned/confused look.
“Why do you say that? Do you think someone is after you?”
“Yup.” The pup not being the center of Meas’s attention decided to pull on Roy’s pants leg. Meas sat down beside Roy and wrapped his arms around him.
“Do you know who?” Roy leaned into Meas’s warmth.
“I’ll give you a clue. It’s furry.” Meas rolled his eyes.
“It’s just a puppy Roy. A small animal with a constant sugar-high. Nothing more. Meas hugged Roy closer.
“If you say so.” They snuggled together on the couch both content with being in each others arms. There was a bark and then a lamp landed on Roy’s head.
“Crap Roy! Wake up! Roy!”
