i liked this movie better when it was MACROSS PLUS.
seriously, i just spent the last 90mins ripping this movie apart. everything from the terminoligy ("pulse indused ramjet") to the plane design (yea, lets go "mach 4" with a foward swept, swing wing design...) to the horable dialog ("I have to go pee-pee").
on a scale of 1 to 10, this is crap+1
the only redeeming part is that i didnt pay to see it. thank you bittorrent
