Back from camping!
Hey everyone!
Wow, it seems like soo long ago I was home, but now I'm back!
I loved camping!
Before you ask me how it was and what I did, I'll just go ahead and tell you. XD
Day 1
On the first day Holly, her mum Vicky, her sister Cassidy, her sister's friend Kaylah, her dog Baloo and I packed up the car and drove up to Paradise Valey to thier trailer!
It was soo nice, they just got it last month. I turned to Vicky and said "This is what you ment by camping?!" and she replied with "Yeah, how's THIS for ruffin' it?" The trailer was 36 feet long and was equiped with 5 beds, a couch, 2 TV's, thier Playstation 2 [stocked with Clocktower 3, Guitar Hero I, II, and III video games, and Finding Nemo, a Touch of Pink and other movies!] A working shower and toilet, and fully exuiped kitchen! It even had A/C!
So, on the first day after playing a round of crazy eights after diner and getting me out of the table where I fell in between the metal legs and the booth seating, Holly decided to show me around the campsite. It's pretty big, and lotsa roads you can easily get lost on, but not for 2 girls with an excelent sence of direction! We walked past all 3 little swimming pools, past the dance hall, into then out of the store [that sold ice cream, yum! We had no money though], down past the petting zoo near the pond, and down into the tunnel. The tunnel is basically the underside of the overpass that crosses over the river. Since it just rained the water level was very high, up past my knees! Holl said that it was the highest she'd ever seen it be.
When we made it back to the trailer it was late, so we set up our beds started a band on Guitar Hero named Hunny Juice [Our nicknames together sound tasty :3], played that, then went to bed.
Day 2
The next day, a couple friends of thiers in the park brought over thier pomeranian pup, it was so fluffy and cuuuute! Luckily I've been taken my alergy meds or I wouldn't be able to stand all the fur of not only that dod, but the big Labrador Baloo of thiers XD. Holly started a Harvest Moon account and I was playing guitar hero when we decided it was time for a swim. The pool didn't taste like the Riding Club's pool I'm so used to, this one was over chlorinated. It also wasn't very deep, nor was it big. There are 3 pools there, one heated, one with a water slide, and one wading pool. [There are also 2 hot tubs, only one of them is full though.]. I got reaalllllyyy burnt from swimming for 3 hours XD. After that we showered off and headed back to the trailer. We played Signal against Cass and Kaylah, and WE TOTALLY KICK BUTT. We even have our patented move that no one could ever figure out! After lunch Holly and I took our cameras and went for another walk down to the tunel and back. Holly is a g r e a t photographer and is expecially great at nature shots. We also went to the petting zoo and the goats grew reallt fond of my shorts o__o;; We played some Giant Chess also before continuing our venture down to the tunel. While inside the great cave-like thing, I found some clay and Hol and I wrote our names on the wall. When we got on the other side of the tunel into the stream we discovered the water was high enough for fishies to be swimming around, so we stayed on the rocks. XD There are Crafish there, which are like little crab/lobster things that pinch. Not fun~ We went back inside and I noticed how echoey the inside was so I yelled HELLOOOOOO. To out suprise we got a Hello back! There was a nice couple there and they kinda stole Holl's Camera that we set down before venturing into the water for obvious reasons, and took pictures of us goofing off in the water. That was nice of them, hehe. So they and we hung out under there for a while, trying to convince the older girl that Crafish existed. I don't think we even got thier names. Anywho, I got some nice shots that day too. When I get back to my dad's I'll be sure to upload them onto my dA. We watched A Touch of Pink before bed.
Day 3
We really didn't end up wanting to do much today. It was too hot to have an adventure so we went swimming before lunch, then came back to the trailer and played Guitar Hero, Harvest Moon, Clocktower, Crazy Eights and Signal all day. As an early Christmas present [explained later] Vicky bought us some paper and pencils. FINALLY WE COULD DRAWWWWWWWWW. ;o; <3333. We discussed and drew what our guy selves would be like. I explained to everyone my favoureite mythical creature, nymphs. We had conversations using doodles, oh it was great! When night fell Hol decided to do my makeup and we went for a stroll. She introduced me to her friends around the site, but after each meating she said "Woah, sorry they're mean now. I hate puberty 3: <" So it was basically just we at the MacNiel trailer who were our own friends for the week.
Day 4
MERRY CHRISTMAS. What? You mean it's NOT? Try telling everyone else in the campsite that! It was christmas in July and everybody celebrated. [By everyone I mean the oldies. Us kids didn't really care :] Hol and I had another walk and we bought ice cream this time! We walked over past the chess board and found it was in use, so we decided to watch. The game was about 3/4 done, and Hol and I being chess freaks scrunched our faces every time they made a move that we didn't suggest to eachother that they should make. We didn't tell them untill the game was over what moves they could have made, otherwise it would have been our game, not thiers. After a walk down to the tunel and comming back for Christmas diner, we took the kids we met down to the dance/concert by a band that I forget the name of. The band wasn't awful, I actually liked listening to thier covers of old songs that I had almost forgottem about. We played in the play equipment and I found this awesome chair thing that when you sit down on it, IT NEVER STOPS SPINNING. Uuugh, nausiaaa. We went on the swimgs for a little while then went back home as it was really late.
Day 5
Our last day. We cleaned up our room and discovered SIMPSONS MONOPOLY.We played for about 2 hours. Kaylah became bankrupt first, I was the 2nd one out, Cassidy came in 2nd place and Holly won! It was epic, I guess you had to be there. But as all good things do, the week came to an end. We were all tired and I was glad to be home.
And that was the first and best trailer camping experience I've ever had
Today
This morning after falling asleep so easily, I woke up early without noticing it. I didn't even think I'd have enough energy last night to make it into swim team this morning. I did, but it was hard work today! We did 400m choise warm up, 200m kick, 200m pull, then for the main work out we did 8 sets of 75m freestyle sprints, minute break, then 6 sets, minute break, then he decided we only had enough time for 2 more sets and a cool down. OMFG D: My arms are like JELLY, I can hardly type. XD. So after my shower after swim team I've been on the couch being like uuuuuugh. Noo, I don't wanna tell my friend about my triiiiip. But I am, and I did, and now it's over =D.
