(no subject)
2 hours down, 6 & 1/2 to go til I get to leave work...I don't know if I'll ever get used to this.
Monday night was ridiculous! We got to the SAE halloween party a lil before 10, and there really weren't many people there. But as time went on, it got PACKED, and I don't know how many people were there, but I'd guess somewhere between 300-400 people...It was insane, so packed, so hot especially in costumes, but it was still fun! Lots of dancing, til the music started to suck. Lots of dirty boys who wanted to dance, totally didn't. I hate that...when random guys try and practically molest you...Yeah, I only want to dance with my boyfriend thankyouverymuch. Soo thank goodness for having all the girls there so we could dance together!! We totally requested My Humps and they definately played it AFTER we left. Bummer...They better play it at semi-formal because yes, we're obsessed with it. Lol. Hopefully the DJ will be good...Cuz I honestly think that will make or break the night...Hmmmm
Ok SO...we left the party around 11:30 because it was getting to the point that we couldn't move, and there was still a HUGE line outside of people to get in, so it was only going to get worse. Basically, I was driving me, Kara, Kendall, & Lauren back to Lauren's apartment...Anddd we were on Hamlin, all of a sudden there's a deer going crazy right by my car...its stumbling around and they girls are screaming and i didn't know what to do so I SLAMMED on the breaks! the deer fell down next to my car and Kara had a *moment* with the deer as it looked up to her...So we realized that the deer had just been hit by the truck in front of us. We pulled over to see if the guy needed any help, and he didn't have a cell so we had to call the cops. Lauren made the call, started crying on the phone because it was so sad/scary...So we're standing at the side of the road around midnight, mind you, we're all in our 80s/ish costumes so we probably looked like complete idiots. Kendall was really concerned about the deer so she wanted to go pick it up and help it. We decided we couldn't go pick up the deer. Haha. So we looked and suddenly the deer was gone from where it layed next to my car. Lauren & Kendall walked over to the area to see where it went. It had stumbled down a hill and had it's head caught in a fence :( So the girls came back over to me and Kara and while we were still waiting for the Cops to get there, we heard screaming noises coming from the deer in the distance because it was so hurt & dying :( Then the cops finally got there and went to look at the deer and decided that it was going to get shot to put it out of its misery..so we left before that happened. I swear that whole experience scarred me for life. Oh, and THEN we pull up to Lauren's apartment, and what is standing right outside of her building? A huge f'ing deer. "coincidence," right? Hmm...So then I drove home probably slower than I ever had before, with my brights on as much as possible because I was so convinced I would hit a deer. Good story, right? Yeah, I thought it made our Halloween a little more interesting lol...
Yesterday was just full of classes and whatnot. I got my philosophy midterm back, and contrary to what I thought, I didn't do ALL that bad!! It will bring my grade in the class down just a little bit, but...I honestly thought I failed it because it was so hard. So yay for that! It made my day :) The rest of the semester is downhill from here...I'm done with classes in just a little more than a month! How crazy is that?
Matt is coming home Friday!!!
I CAN'T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS TIME...when the malls are crowded, it's snowy outside, and they play christmas music everywhere. best feeling in the whole world, theres nothing else like it :) 100.3 is already playing xmas music!!!
I was supposed to go out with Heidi tomorrow, but that didn't end up working out, so I don't have to do ANYTHING today or tomorrow after work/school. I love it :) And on top of that, Heidi and I were going shopping so I could find a bracelet & purse for semi-formal, but I found everything I needed in my moms stuff! Super cute bracelet and...an acceptable purse. I hate having clutch purses, but I'm comprimising so that I don't have to spend any money. This weekend is going to be expensive between getting my nails done, and paying for our dinner Saturday night. I think I can handle it tho!
