Oh my gosh - hind sight is seriously 20-20. Not 5 minutes later, I was off of the metro, walking to work and thinking of HOW I SHOULD HAVE REACTED but instead, I was like shocked and had NOOOOOO CLUE what to do in the moment - you know what I mean? It was not good.
But anywho - yea, I am definitely finding that. I have some friends who have never had a chance to "find themselves" or really figure out who they are; and while I definitely get why some people are in relationships a lot or get together at a younger age, I'm personally glad to have this time (while I'm still in my early 20s) to just figure out ME.
And yes - this is such a cute mood theme. Let me know if you're interested in snagging it. I forget where I found it, but I think I have it linked at home still...sooooo cute! :D
I never understood people's obsession with asking whether I was in a relationship or not. When I was single I was happy that way. It's crazy! It's nice being married, don't get me wrong. But I'm sure if I had not met Bruno I would have had a full life! Sheesh!
I hope you know that you don't need no stinkin' lobster. ;)
I totally know! I just absolutely love that part of Friends and had to get it in there...haha!
But yea, funny how I wrote this entry when I was feeling really secure and like 48 hours later I started dealing with drama that makes me feel insecure. But, this too will pass...
Thinking back on my 20's, I would have missed so much if I'd been in the situation I'm in now.
This is awesome to hear from someone who's been there. I am definitely enjoying my 20s so far and feel the same way -- I see so many friends of mine who bog themselves down with someone (who is NOT the right one but just to have a boyfriend) and while I may not be the absolutely most exciting person in the world -- I definitely have had some fun single adventures that I wouldn't want to miss out on!

Also, if you were 38 when you were married, I bet you did things well -- some of the best weddings I've gone to were for my more mature friends because they really know themselves and know what they want! :D
