Not much has happened that's REAL great.
The band went to Little Big Horn competition in Opp last Saturday. I think..and many others think we did our best, but there were better bands. We got straight 1's..Nothing in best class, but we got the Most Entertaining band of the day award. GREEATT:-) It was like soo releiving that we won something big. We got 3rd place over all. Which is GREAT out of freaking 11 bands. Cheer up--EVERYONE--because that is GOOD.
We have another competition this Saturday. Most of the band is taking the ACT so are others since it's nation wide. So, I guess it won't start until later in the day. There are 9 bands going, and 6 are in our class. WHAT THE HECK haha. We have to seriously buckle up n pray for the best against Foley. I think we will do great. I really have a good feeling.
Well, today I checked out because my stomach was hurting so bad--I can't wait until I get surgery on my galbladder, this shit is painful and annoying.--What we had for lunch today was FUCKING DISGUSTING. Yesterday too. Today we walked in the lunch room and we saw tacos..we were like OH YAY something good. DUDE, how about the tortilla had HAM SHREDDED CHESSE BROCCOLI sp? and RANCH AND MAYO on it.. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? Monday we had baked potatoes and then there was sum chili w/ no beans to put ON The potatoe..then we saw the beans were in this rice shit mixed w/ ranch dressing. HOW SICK! Gosh..what the fuck is wrong with them?
After I got checked out..my mom said that my lesson instructor called and told me not to go to after school practice, because he had a surprise for me. Well, I went to lessons about an hour early, then we left and he told me to follow him to EHS and I did. Come to find out, I was about to go see my first symphony orchestra concert. which was BEYOND FUCKING AWESOME. I got to see Alabama Symphony Orchestra. MY gah..they are pretty hott. Have you ever heard about the first chair violin aka concertmaster being a total asshole because they knew they were the shit? Well..It's FUCKING TRUE. How bout I got to go in back stage w/ the commander of the army band *(lesson instructor)* and i went to sit down, then I had left my lights on in my car, so I went BACK out. Well, the concertmaster was practicing in this lil room thing where the stairs lead outside. Well, he stopped practicing sighed and was like waiting..and I was like sorry im sooo sorry, he was likE YEAH WHATEVER HURRY UP...then the commander told him good job and nice talent, and he said ..*YEA..I know* and smirked up and just walked off. WHAT THE HELL hahahahahah. I went to go talk to the clarinetests in the orchestra. Come to find out I knew one of them!! haha I was like HEYYY i know you. She was the symphony band director at UAB..she was like you better be coming to the retreat this year *clarinet symphony* and I was like yeah I'm going, its just that last year I was so busy with something else. But I'm definately going this year. I think the commander is also. YaY what fun. he bragged about me, and Mrs. Gainey *UAB person* agreed that I was a very talented young lady and I had great potential, she also didn't BASH me with UAB IS BETTER THAN TROY or everything else I hear from everyone in different colleges tryna get ppl. BLEH. Anyways, the concert was AWESOME, it rocked my socks. I got to meet the Miestro sp? Aka Conductor. OMG he was hot. Hot .. HOTTTT He was from Europe and his nice accent was like killer melt down hot. He shook my hand and the commander introduced me and he was like wow, well I guess I'll be seeing you in one of my orchestras in the future over in europe I was likE HAHA I HOOPEEE SOO BABES..lmao jk..Naw he was young and a typical pretty european guy. The commanders wife and I sat there and tried pronouncing everyones name. Holy crud...how about we couldn't. We made total asses of ourselves trying to pronouce them. I had fun though. It was a great load of fun, and I was astonished. I loved it. I want to go again, to another one so I can see the variety in music.
Well, I need to go to bed..I don't know if I'm going to school, I think I just need to go get this thing chopped out. I can't wait until my appt.
