yesterday lisa and andrew and i went to cedar point. i dont like roller coasters, so i bet youre wondering why i would get up at 5:30 to drive over three hours to "americas roller coast," spend the day wandering out in the blisteringly bright sun, get blisters on my feet from my flipflops, wait in long lines, then spend over three hours driving back, getting lost, and loving the day? it was to visit MP!
we got up crazy early to get there before she started work at 10am in order to utilize her employee discount, and just barely made it in time for her to be a few minutes late (sorry mp). we wandered around the park, riding the lm-proof rides while she was at work. while waiting in line for woodstock express, one of the dads asked us why we were riding it, instead of one of the big coasters. haha, silly dad-man. we bought a pretty fantastic picture of andrew and i riding the woodstock express, itll keep me laughing for years.
mp got off work (early!) at 3ish, and it was so much fun to see her. we wandered around with lisa and andrew for a little while, but they eventually went to get their moneys worth and ride some roller coasters. mp and i saw some shows, rode the sky-ride (like a ski life) several times, and generally just gabbed. it was lovely, i have missed her. we spent quite a bit of the day talking about stephen and adam, and both were sadder for it. as she put it, "were those girls." heehee.
anywho, i am now waiting for andrew to get off the phone so we can go play "da vincis challenge." heres a picture from yesterday.
