Busy week. Busy busy week.
We tried to go to New Parks class on Thursday but it's moved from where it was last time I went. We've found the new place now, hopefully going to go this week instead.
The weather has suddenly got very hot, which is lovely and difficult at the same time. Makes karate more challenging. I've worn my lightweight gi the last couple of times we've trained, it makes a difference but it's less comfortable. GKR have just recently brought out a new medium weight one so I'm going to get one of those. Not sure whether to wait till my birthday or to get one now and just manage the money. Very tempting to just get one now!
Cath and Will got married last weekend in an absolutely perfect day. The bride was radiant, the groom was handsome, the best man's speech was embarrassing, all was as it should be.
I finally sewed the patch on to my kit bag like I've been meaning to for the better part of a year! Immediately had three requests to make them for other people. (Vicky, Naz and Ian, in that order). I've also had a request from Nicola to do a karateka with a green belt, I put a picture of the one I did last year up on facebook on the off-chance that anyone would be interested. The big patches I'm selling for £8 each, the karateka one for £4.
Big plans for this weekend! As well as starting on Vicky's patch, I'm going to clean and tidy the lounge and hopefully move out to the hallway and kitchen too. It's all very untidy and I'm not happy about it. Next weekend I'm hoping to attack the garden. Giving the anti-histamine levels in my system to build up first...!
