A few recent stitches...
To make up for not posting any stitchy pictures for a while, here's four at once!
First of all, a small DMC variegated thread kit meets a washed-out tin which used to contain chopped tomatoes. Voila, a pen pot.
And then, my owl obsession starts to make it known with first an assisi keyring
then a fridge magnet (the moon background is unstitched, I was playing with texture a bit)
and finally, a small byut very effective picture
Next, I will be starting my 2011 completed projects sampler (more commonly known as "kitty's pretties"), just as soon as I decide on what fabric it's going on this year that is, and I will be finishing the blackwork bibliophile bookmark from Kincavel Krosses. I've taken out a couple of lines of the border, to make it shorter so it'll fit in a frame I already have, and that will be going on the wall in my library. Unfortunately, as it turns out, I really don't enjoy blackwork - but this will be so perfect for a library that I will finish it, and then I'll know for next time!
