The triceratops is done! I did think him an insurmountable obstacle for a while (quite a lot of detail in that headplate, and I hadn't quite finished the body when I had to put this aside for a while so it's been this great looming thing for a few months!) so I'm really pleased that I've finished him. Well, finished except for the backstitch, which will be starting tomorrow.

I took a week to do other things so, one week in stitching time later, he looks like this
Next up: diplodocus. His tail falls down to slightly cover the trike's backside, hence the little curl there that isn't stitched. I've been working on this for so long that I've got pet names for all the dinos. So far, we've had Mummy and Baby, Trike, and next is called (in my head at least) Dippy. I'm not crazy, I've just been hanging out with cross stitched dinosaurs for too long.
