Oxford
Hello everybody!
I got here yesterday, but didn't open fresher's pack and only now found my password and username, need to do more interner related things, but nevermind now.
It is awesome here!!!!
I love my room, it is huge and it has a bedroom and a lounge and though it doesn't have proper shelfs, it does have so much space and I am right next to the bathroom and I have an amazing view! Everbody is lovely, my college mum found me within 5 minutes of me being here and we had tea in her room, which by the way is gorgeous and right above the Master's Lodgings which is cool. Since then, I only went to my room for 5 minutes to change before we went to The Bridge and then came back ant half 2. Yesterday was insane, there was speed befriending, drinks with other PPEists, clubbing, dinner with college parents and an hour and a hlaf tout of the college which was amusing. I have awesome college parents, my brother is a bit strange though and my sister is an exchange student from America which is cool.
I have been so busy, no time to get lonely, however even though everyone is so friendly I haven't found anyone to connect with, no one at all like me I don't think. Obviously it is a bit early to make conclusions it's not like anyone knows me either so I will shut up now.
Everyone went clubbing at the Bridge, and I was one of the few people to stay till the end, the music was atrocious but on the whole it was a pleasant experience. I bought tickets for today and tomorrow too, hopefully it will be better.
This morning I was supposed to go to an introduction at the social sciences library, but missed it, becuase I didn't realise we had to walk there and it's not in college, apparently it's not that important, I did make it to the library introduction at Univ though. Needless to say I didn't go to brekafast, the food is actually not that bad. The spare time I had I used to start unpacking, as a result I simply have stuff everywhere now, but my walls look better.
Also there are the most beautiful boys in the years above, which is sad as there are few in my year and the third years do seen unattainable. Haha, yes anyway, there is a murder mystery in 15 mins, which is bound to be fun and I will hopefully be back for longer later. No promises though.
Last but not least, today is a day for birthdays.
