This season of Merlin has ranged from mediocre to terrible, (Gwaine aside, I looove him!) which is why I haven't said anything about it, but the last two episodes. OH MY GOD. It's like, up till now all development was slower than snail pace and suddenly everything came together all at once and it was so amazing. :DDDD

I also screamed when Lancelot appeared and I knew it was going to happen!

The round table was AWESOME, my favourite part of the whole season.

I'm pretty sure any combination of shipping of the knights works. There were just so many significant looks and little grins all round!

When Merlin said he'd contacted him, but heard nothing I thought that was their way of explaining his absence, so I really wasn't expecting it. It was the best surprise ever, I love him, I hope he stick around in season 4.

That and the knighting after, so lovely.

What we need is one huge knights orgy! Plus Merlin. :DDDD

You know, I haven't read any Merlin fic in a really long time, but I hope there are a bunch of new canon compliant once now, because the possibilities are pretty much endless.

I have a question though - when was Percival introduced? I can't remember him being in it before...

He wasn't, he was the once exception and just randomly turned up with Lancelot, but hopefully next season will give us his background a bit more.

It felt so special, all their answers were so true to character.

Ahh good, I thought I'd missed an episode! Although it would have been funny if Percival had said something like 'You fought for me and faced an evil hipogriff and saved my wife from mermaids'. It would have mightilly confused the audience ;)

I sense continued angst from Lancelot next season. And probably continued drunkenness from Gawain.

Hee, that would have been great, I suppose Arthur has to fill his time between episodes somehow. And willing to die for someone you've just met was a but random, but this is Merlin and my expectations are pretty low.

Lancelot and Gwaine should become friends, they are so different, it'd be really interesting. Perhaps Lancelot can keep Gwaine in check and Gwaine could get to him to have a little fun.
