(no subject)
So, I haven't actually updated in ages due to a mixture of busyness and laziness, and in fact this was a post I was going to make a few days ago, but I didn't, and now my tabs are out of control and so I will! Have a lot of comments etc I need to respond to, and perhaps a RL update coming later, but for now lots of links and unpopular opinions! :D And a meme!
Twitter: the fact that I am away from my computer for lengthy period of time, means I have been highly dependant on my phone and Twitter is where I get a lot of my fandom news, thankfully this is not always a bad thing.
Example A: where is the epic Adam/Brad reunion fic, fandom? I made such a ridiculous highpitched noise upon seeing that particular conversation.
Example B: I love Meryl, she is fantastic! Please skating fandom, don't die before someone writes a fic about Meryl! In fact, I will do it myself!
Example C: ( part 2) ZQ, I love you, please to be kissing more ladies, because the fandom reaction is absolutely hilarious!
TV
• Yes, the new ep of WC airs tonight, but I still want to talk about the last one!
Neal thinks Peter is taking him to a super expensive restaurant, oh Neal!
Hilary Burton, you were the best part of One Tree Hill (you and Sophia Bush) it is very nice to see you here and whoa you have some skills there!

Apart from the whole assassin thing, I do love me some Mr Black, he has his own theme music!
I love how different Neal is now that he knows who his character is meant to be/what he is getting into, much more confident! And yay for pickpocketing skills, really do come in handy!
I really want El to return, I love that she tells Peter to talk to Sarah, in any other series there would be jealpusy and sexual advances from at least one party. I love that they spend the night working and had a bet about what Neal would say, which Peter obviously wins and Neal is obviously super jealous of their new found bond, feeling all left out, and angry. But wait, he too has a bet! And wins! Awwwwwww.
(incidentally, Sarah's clothes are amaaazing!)
I love the way Peter asks Neal what are you doing here?
• I wish there were more episodes of Sherlock, even though 2&3 sucked. I want lots of fic, which fixes canon fail!
• There is nothing else that I am watching right now. I want to start a lot of things, but it seems like such a commitment.
Skating
• When I made my last post re Evan, I had no idea the depth of fail the whole thing would reach. It took me a week to be able to think about him without getting angry. As it is, I have reached a place where I am able to compartmentalise pretty successfully. RL Evan is not someone I want to think about/see, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying fic about the fan created character, after all RPF is fiction and fanon Evan has always been very different from the reality. This is a delicate balance, which is working for me, but I totally understand why people are no longer inclined to write about him. (Like I said, I can read fic with him, but do not have any inclination to write it)
• Johnny and Nastia being friends will never not be hilarious and awesome. Johnny in heels will never not be ridiculously hot, that picture alone makes me almost forgive the awfulness of the article (that and you're a car!)
• This entire shoot made me laugh so much, it is so awkward and terrible, I mean these are the type of faces/poses I am pretty sure I would do if someone forced me to pose, and I don't mean that in a good way, it's even complete with the obligatory jumping photos! :DDDD

• Most perfect wedding ever?
• White Collar fic that is now my personal canon.
