(Half my flist has been squeeing about it, so now I can finally go back and read reaction posts. :D Though not now, as am going to bed, but before I do that, here are my brief thoughts.)
Non spoilery: It was like an awesome mix of the Matrix, Oceans 11 and the Bourne films with some extra specialness and a dash of Atonement.
I just find the whole dream v reality concept so very fascinating, always have and this was just so cool and clever and amazing. Also, the fight scenes didn't even bore me! Because there were funny bits and bizarre bits and lack of gravity! Also, Marion Cotillard was terrifying and beautiful. And JGL looks so good in a suit and Leo was stellar as always and I heart Ellen Page.
I was so sure that at the end when he arrived, Mel would be amongst the people that greet him, thus proving that it was still a dream. The escape seemed too quick! But the still spinning thing was a much more subtler ambiguous ending, I like.
I want to see it again.
There were so many details that are just really, really cool! (Yes, I am relying heavily on that word, but I do think it is the right one!) I feel a little starry eyed still.
Have seen a lot of people talking about wanting fic, but I don't think I do. Not sure why! (Please convince me of my wrongness!) It probably won't last long, but right now the only fic I kinda want is Cobb and Mel and their years in Limbo, even though that will make me cry.
