Epic post is epic
The last few days I have been very busy, so this is going to be a long catch up post... Yay for numbers!
1. I love fandom and how we can come together in an instant makes me feel incredibly proud. You guys are so amazing: help_haiti , the ontd_ai v ontd_startrek money raising competition, ewinfic's Haiti-thon... Unfortunately I have been unable to participate as much as I wish I could have (ontd_st was the exception, because I love them), because I am not very good at requests, have no money at all, and doubt anybody would be interested in what I could offer, but I did give the little that I could to the Disaster Emergency Committee.
2. RL -- I drove my parents to the airport on Friday (my first time on a motorway EVER, and I made it back alive! :D) and have been alone ever since. Well, did spend my weekend in London, so not that alone. One of my LSE friends stopped by in London for a few hours on her way to Munich from Chicago and we had breakfast, which was so lovely. Then I went shopping. There is a fantastic sale in Zara right now. I bought a leather jacket for £20 on sale from £90!!! It is amazing and I love it beyond all reason. I also didn't realise it was real leather when I bought it and now have massive guilt, only I love it too much to return it. I also bought sequin leggings... Yeah, I know. My first pair of leggings ever and I thought I should do it with a bang, because why the hell not?
Met my brother for lunch, he finally gave me my camera cable, so that I can share my snow pictures with you all and we went to the National Gallery for a little while. I hadn't been there in many years, but still remembered exactly where Van Gogh's Sunflowers is. Go, me. Then my brother had to go sleep off his hangover and I went to the National Portrait Gallery, which I love. There was a room of Twiggy's life in photos, which was especially interesting to look at.
Then I went to a few more shops, failed to find the shoes I need and met a few friends for dinner. Went to a lovely Mediterranean restaurant in Islington and then a party, which we weren't technically invited to. It was very nice, nonetheless, though I was so tired. I had planned to come home that evening, but everyone insisted I stay and so I ended up doing so. There are a lot of people from Oxford, which I tend to only see at these parties, which means that I hadn't seen them in about a months and they always ask what I am doing now and I am getting tired of saying nothing.
It rained a lot on Saturday, but it didn't matter to me, because I have an amazing big rainbow umbrella to keep me dry, and just looking at it makes me happy.
3. PINTO SANDWICH. OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS! (Legally Blonde the musical reference, because will be hopefully seeing it this week!) I spend ages yesterday catching up on my flist and only read this late last night, am so sad I wasn't around to share the squee with you all. I missed out on all the fun. Please, someone talk to me about it! I. Just. Oh god.

Okay. I can breathe again. Just thinking about it makes my heart beat faster!!!!!!
Clothes mocking, CAPTAIN, food sharing, car sharing, Zach encouraging Chris to flirt!!! NOT EVERYONE. Zach loving Julianne Moore and Tom Ford, Zach wanting to be in A Single Man!!!!!!! (THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO EPIC)
I want Fic about JCho being their evil enabler.
I am on two minds about this. Otoh: aww so cute they are all friends and awesome and I love them, and Chris hooking up with Cheno would be amazing, and on the other, my mind is trying to appease my Pinto loving heart and try to create fic around it all.
When it comes to writing Pinto, I tend to base all my fics around real events. I don't know why, I guess that's how my mind works and I think that this is why I haven't really written them in ages. There was no new material, or indeed evidence that they have so much as seen each other in months. This made me very sad, though I am writing a fic all about where they are now and all this new info will come in very handy.
Also, Chris being really touchy-feely and not too big on personal space is so cute, i so called it. because that is how we tend to all write him, and yet there has been no actual evidence till now.

4. Awesome things that I like and I am sure you will like as well.
- This comic, but also this and this.
-Glee fic rec one: Be Yourself and Five Other Clichés This is a Mike/Kurt fic! And it is hilarious, it reads like a part of the show, only better. The details are truly astounding, and it references some of my favourite things: John Hughes movies, the history boys and much more.
-Glee fic rec two: Five Times Kurt Hummel Fell For Someone And One Time They Fell For Him Too This is a fic about Kurt, about growing up and love and heartbreak and I love it so much. If you have even a little interest in the character of Kurt Hummel, then this give this fic a go.
- The tube picspam.
- Gives me hope. I can't believe I'd never heard of the website, it is so lovely and the picspam actually made me tear up.
5. Golden Globes
a. RDJ!!!!! I love his voice and mannerism so very much.
b. Meril Streep ♥ I need to see Julie and Julia.
c. GLEE <333 (Jane Lynch should have won as well!) I can't believe they won, I am so happy for them, I don't think they expected it at all. :D
-So cute, shame they cut off half the people, but look at Amber’s hand and Mark’s neck. Aww. Even the producer call Jane Lynch with both her names, I am so not used to seeing her in a dress, but she looked very regal.
- A ton of other interviews. They are the best cast ever, so new at this and so very sweet about it all and it is clear that they all love each other. I adore them all.
- A ton of pictures.
-Amber Riley gets surprised by Stevie Wonder. Cutest thing ever.
- Jane Lynch interview. Sue is finally going to sing on Glee! Yesss. (here she is, singing in Spanish!)
-I love Chris Colfer. He always makes me laugh.
-Diana Agron is awesome, apart from talent and beauty, she also has a blog, where she comes across as the loveliest person ever, and smart and interesting. I am a little in awe.
6. White Collar is back tomorrow! So excited!
- These two scenes from the new episode are scaring me a little. (Spoilers, obvs.) I just hope Neal's (beautiful and amazing well earned) trust in Peter doesn't get crushed.
-Matt is a "prepster". I do like the picture, but not the yet another made up word.
-Matt is awesome and the interviewer really fails at subtle.
-Everyone needs to read these two fics.

-I was going to talk a little about me, but this is already out of control, so instead I am going to link you to an incredible picspam, which is full of things that I love. (in the interest of disclosure the only exceptions are: Ben Barnes, Zac Efron and RPattz)
