Shallow post is shallow
I went winter coat shopping yesterday. I love coats and hate coat shopping, because it is so difficult to find ones that fit. I apparently possess abnormally long arms and so coats my size have super short sleeves on me and bigger sizes are way too big. I lucked out though because just when I was about to give up and go home I found this red coat, so pleased with it! It’s not very long, but it looks lovely on. Also bought a trench with an awesome pattern, Yay, coats!
On my way back from the job centre today, I went looking for a birthday present and instead discovered that Milton Keynes does in fact have charity shops, and unlike London and Oxford these still have charity shop prizes, they might not sell Jimmy Choos (like the one in London I went to last week) but I spend £8 for a lovely dark blue blazer with gold buttons that actually fits and a grey jersey vest top, the front of which is covered with grey sequins. I know sequins are very in and it annoys me that everyone is wearing them, but I couldn’t resist. It is very subdued, great for layering, casual sequins make me happy.
Halloween tomorrow, very excited, a friend is hosting a birthday/Halloween party and I will be dong stuff during the day, so can’t dress up too much, but I bought a Venetian mask and with my crazily expensive harlequin tights and a skirt with a Harlequin pattern will try to make something out of it. (incidentally, never google image 'harlequin', it is a scarring experience)
As a result of this blog, which showcases Emma Pillsbury’s amazing outfits, I have decided that I want sweater clips. Looking on ebay with little luck. Though this is pretty.
Unrelated, are these boots really ugly? I kind of love them, but I don't know if I should trust my judgement.
P.S. Someone has requested Academia (Anthropomorphic) as a Yuletide fandom. The reason this pleases me enormously is that the list of characters includes IR theories! I could so write Realism/Liberalism hatesex, they could have Constructivism babies. :D :D
P.P.S. I DESPERATELY WANT A MATT BOMER/ZACHARY QUINTO COLLEGE FIC! They went to college at the same time at the same place, you guys, read the personal info on his wiki page. Seriously.
